Welcome to the Truss Bridge Assembly Section. Below we show you step by step how our truss bridges are constructed. This one was installed in Goffstown, NH.

Drilling the abutments to place the bearing plates and anchor bolts.
Laying out the truss sections and sliding them together.
Bolting together the first two sections of trusses.
Lifting the first truss into place.
After securing the first truss, the second truss is ready for placement.
Lateral rods placed between floor beams to keep trusses straight.
With both trusses tied down and the lateral rods in place, the floor beams are attached starting at one end, working your way across.
After the floor beams are in place, the stringers are set in each bay.
With the floor beams and stringers torqued down, the floor is laid out and welded down.
Here is an optional scupper for drainage.
Corrugated deck used on the sidewalk.
Tack coat applied prior to paving with asphalt.
